Owen Jones was a Victorian architect, designer and renowned commentator on decorative ornaments. His book 'The Grammar of Ornament' published in 1856 was a stunningly illustrated catalogue encompassing every decorative style and influence from around the world. The Owen Jones wallpaper depicting a simple fleur de lys a quintessential Jones motif first appeared in the Morris & Co. Volume III collection.
